Snowdrop graphite

Wow. When I saw this in the list of Critiques, I knew this one definitely deserved one. Your graphite work is, as your previous viewers commented, stunning, amazing, and highly admirable. Fur is very hard to get right, but you still managed to create a high-quality piece that seems very alive to all of us. The shading is also amazing, and it almost feels like you took a picture rather than drew one. You paid a lot of attention to the feline features - everything from to challenging eyes to the curve from the nose - and the result was beautiful. Also, it's very clear that you looked at where the fur was thicker, where the light fell, and so forth. It's always a pleasure to see such a great piece of any type of animal, especially since cats can be a hard subject to draw. Despite the grainy properties of graphite, you still made the animal appear soft and elegant.

Overall, this is an amazing piece, and I think you've got a real talent. Excellent work, and continue creating art!
